       In proposing a candidate for membership, the sponsor is attesting to the following:

          1.         Candidate's ethical practice as a breeder, exhibitor, or owner.

          2.         Candidate's ability to understand, protect and breed to the standard;

          3.         Candidate's involvement in and knowledge of good breeding practice;

          4.         Quality of Candidate's work done for other pure-bred dog clubs;

          5.         Sponsor's recent personal knowledge of the candidate, normally for at least one year.

            The Sponsor is requested to write a letter addressed to the NSKC Board of Directors

with information on the above points which apply. Individuals may sponsor only two

            candidates within a calendar year.
