The North Shore Kennel Club, Inc. is an All-Breed Dog Club. The first meeting of the incorporators was held March 5, 1934. In 1935 North Shore Kennel Club, Inc. was one of the first of six clubs to hold an Obedience Test with there All-Breed Show. The North Shore Kennel Club, Inc. was elected to American Kennel Club membership in 1937. The North Shore Kennel Club, Inc held its first show August 25, 1934 and every year since except 1943 (No Show W.W.II).
Membership is open to all persons eighteen years of age and older who are in good standing with The American Kennel Club, Inc. and who subscribe to the purpose of this Club.
While membership is to be unrestricted as to residence, the Club's primary purpose is to representative of the breeds and exhibitors in its immediate area.
